Shooters

Equator [Rs. 249] – Made with anis vodka and garnished with a ring of fiery tabasco, this one felt gooood going down the throat. Kicked the sniffles out of me right away!! They also served jelly set in orange peels to counter the spiciness. Have it for its delicious taste! #YumYum

Panipuri Shots [Rs. 299] – These have a quirky factor to it with vodka infused pani in the shooter and the sev stuffed puri on top. Nice potency of the alcohol in the pani. Loved this enough to down a few additional shots! [;-)] #YumYum #HighlyRecommended

Cocktails

Whisky Malai Maar Ke [Rs. 199] – This had whisky shaken with Irish and lime served on the rocks with optional cream. Tasted much like Bailey’s however with a dash of whisky. Absolutely lip-smacking drink. Hands down the best cocktail of the evening! #YumYum #HighlyRecommended

Rose Petal Litchi Martini [Rs. 299] – Made with vodka, litchi, rose petal and lime, it didn’t quite appeal to me much. Probably a little too much litchi syrup and a little too less vodka, maybe?

Cherry Tomato & Cucumber Mojito [Rs. 299] – This had white rum on ice muddled with cherry tomato, cucumber, lime and fresh mint. Nicely presented but was a tad oversweet.

Mango Bell Pepper Mojito [Rs. 299] – Made with white rum on ice with mango, hot peppers and fresh mint, this one was a winner for me. Loved the spiciness of the peppers with the punch of the rum.

Rum Curry was a combination of rum with Indian spices like fennel and curry leaves. Tasted lip-smacking!

Deccan Harvest Pan Martini [Rs. 249] – Made from fresh betel leaf, gulkand [rose petals] and coconut shaken with vodka to give the taste of mitha pan. Amazing combination of the betel flavor with the vodka. A very good alternate to any dessert as an end to a delicious meal. #YumYum

Mocktails

As our team had a couple of teetotalers, DH was kind enough to serve them some mocktails.

Hot Wired [Rs. 159] – A black currant slush with salt rim. Good to look at and good to taste.

Veg. Main Course

Bawarchi Ki Khasiyat [Rs. 320] and Veg Tuk Tuk [Rs. 300] were two well-prepared vegetarian dishes that went well with the dal and rotis however there was nothing extraordinary in either.

Non Veg. Main Course

Murg Rajdhani [Rs. 400] – A classic chicken dish from the capital with generous helping of the white cream gravy. Huge chunks of the chicken ensured sufficient meat to go around.

Chef’s Special Mutton Angare was a dish presented with flair and panache. Minced mutton covered in a blanket of whipped egg white which is drizzled with whisky and flambéed. The theatre certainly added to the overall zazz of the dish and upped the flavor profile greatly. #YumYum

Dal & Rice

Dal Dhabewali [Rs. 240] – This was an attempt to prepare the dal in a similar manner to what is available in any roadside dhaba, but with a whole lot more hygiene. Served hot, this went very well with the curries.

Veg Potli Biryani [Rs. 335] – While this is their attempt to replicate a potli [or bag], the outer cover container for the biryani resembled a large kachori more, prompting someone to rename it to “Kachori Biryani”. However there was no denying the flavours that potli packed. Absolutely delectable biryani with perfect seasonings. #YumYum

Bread Preparation

Assorted bread basket including Olives Naan [Rs. 95] and Nasi Naan [Rs. 70]. Although the bloggers table menu mentioned these two unique naans, the bread basket served on our table had only the regular rotis and naans.

Desserts

Caramel Custard [Rs. 130] – With a nice glaze on top, this one had a nice wobble when jiggled. Tasted good too.

Kulfi [Rs. 150] – Another standard dessert with nothing that made it stand out. But tasted good as expected.
